Housed in a lovingly restored Queenslander, Harvest Newrybar incorporates a light-filled restaurant, a rustic bakery featuring a 118-year-old wood-fired oven, an artisan delicatessen and a flourishing garden of edible goodness. Showcasing the diversity of our beautiful region, Harvest sources prime ingredients from our exceptional local suppliers as well as our own garden. Bringing together these wonderful ingredients, we create dishes that are unconventional, unique, exciting and spontaneous, sharing an expression of our locale in this very moment. We invite you to join us for a fine dining experience, Thursday to Saturday, where you can meet our Head Chef Alastair Waddell and enjoy a wood-fired menu inspired by Australia’s producers and underutilised native ingredients in our charming bakery. Complementing the menu, our award-winning wine list explores small conscientious winemakers and lesser-known Australian varietals. Embodying an effortless ambience, our dishes are simple and honest, yet imbued with incredible finesse.

Catering for any event from 2 guests to 230 guests, we offer you a choice of delightful venues. Gather in our magnificent sperry tent with a whole beast slow-cooked over our fire pit. Host a private ceremony in our garden, enjoy a pre-wedding dinner or birthday celebration in our bakery or savour an intimate elopement in our private dining room.Bringing together our passion for food and our dedication to providing a high-end service, we curate wonderous experiences and beautiful memories. Harvest Bakery

Accommodates 10 guests for a long-table event, 40 seated guests or 70 guests for a canape and cocktail setting.More than a century old, our bakery is imbued with character and rich history. Bringing a unique charm and rustic ambience to your event, your private chef will serve our signature harvest fare while your personal wait staff will take care of your every wish.

Harvest Restaurant

Accommodates 130 seated guests and 180 guests for a canape and cocktail settingHoused in a light-filled and lovingly restored Queenslander, Harvest Restaurant sets the scene for easy elegance. With an open-plan kitchen and ambient fireplace, your guests can watch your private chef prepare exquisite dishes, whilst being waited on by our wonderful team.

Harvest Private Dining Room

Accommodates 8 guestsNestled behind our historic bakery, this purposeful space has been built using the bricks from the original bakery oven, whilst tiles from the oven’s floor have been repurposed for the room. Modern, with a sense of nostalgia, our dining room includes a carefully-crafted cellar.

Harvest Sperry Tent and Fire Pit

Accommodates 150 seated guests or 230 guests for a canape and cocktail setting.A magical backdrop for your unforgettable event, our breathtaking sperry tent provides a wondrous canopy for your celebration. An elegant space, ready for you to style your way, it is complemented by the ambience and aesthetic of our hand-built fire pit.

Deluxe Dining on Location

Available to greeting you upon your arrival to Newrybar Downs or Bangalow Guesthouse, we’d love to arrange a private inhouse chef to indulge you with sumptuous feasts during your stay.While you relax in the outdoor pavilion, on the sweeping verandah or under the shade of a palm tree, let our chef prepare an exquisite meal for you and your guests. You may also choose to engage our butler concierge service while staying at Newrybar Downs or Bangalow Guesthouse. Simply select your desired local organic produce from the Harvest deli and we’ll arrange for it to be delivered to your pantry. Or, for a delightful afternoon treat, we can prepare and deliver a hamper to you, filled with an antipasto platter of locally sourced goodness, our freshly baked Harvest sourdough and enriched with champagne and the finest of craft beers.
