Curating a series of memorable moments, upon your arrival we invite you to explore the entirety of our grand estate, which dates back to the early 1900s. Set amidst a delightful garden and sweeping lawn, you may choose to stay in one of our four signature ensuite rooms within the guesthouse, or opt for more private lodgings within one of our four deluxe cottages.

Here to exceed your every wish, we can provide an in-house butler to arrange your catering, book a yoga session or private massage, orchestrate cocktail hour, or organise an art or cooking class. All of this is arranged on your behalf, ready for your arrival.
Tucked away between rolling hills, our guesthouse is a short walk from Bangalow’s thriving café culture, boutiques and markets. In less than ten minutes you’ll arrive in Newrybar, where the renowned Harvest restaurant, deli and bakery sit alongside a beautiful collection of local stores and artisans. And a 20 minute drive will have you enjoying a walk and swim at our iconic Byron Bay beaches.
Greeting you upon your arrival to Newrybar Downs or Bangalow Guesthouse, is your very own inhouse chef, waiting to indulge you with a sumptuous feast.
While you relax in the outdoor pavilion, on the sweeping verandah or under the shade of a palm tree, your chef will prepare an exquisite meal tailored to your tastes. Let us create an intimate dinner for you to enjoy with loved ones, complete with soft candlelight, gentle music and fine wine. Later, we invite you to relax with a whisky or espresso martini, crafted just for you by the Harvest team.
You may also choose to engage our butler concierge service, selecting a range of delicious, local organic produce from the Harvest deli and have it delivered to your pantry. Or, for a delightful afternoon treat, we can prepare and deliver a hamper to you, filled with an antipasto platter of locally sourced goodness, our freshly baked Harvest sourdough, complemented with champagne and the finest of craft beers.
