A wedding ceremony under the macadamia tree, followed by dinner at Harvest
Ceremony at Newrybar Downs, reception at Harvest, 114 guests
Jess and Alek came from Sydney and love Harvest and found Newrybar Downs for their ceremony and accommodation. Their ceremony was under the beautiful, shaded macadamia tree in the orchard and guests were greeted off the bus from Byron and ushered to the orchard with champagne in hand.
The ceremony so full of love and family then a celebration in the cabana by the pool.
Then off to Harvest, just down the road for a party, starting with a seated feast then dancing in the bakery. Their wedding cake created from our Harvest deli, and incredible 3 tier cheesecake, a selection of cloth bound cheddar, creamy blue and soft, ripe washed rind on top, covered in fresh figs, local blueberries, flowers and nuts. Honey and Stone played some great tunes and everyone on the dance floor, then the bride and groom departed up the drive way through a cascade of sparklers and happy guests….what an incredible evening, full of love and laughter!
